I’m sure I am not the only who feels that 2015 just started. Where did the time go?! I feel like I still need 2-3 more months in 2015. Can’t it just slow down a bit?
Even with the year going at lighting speed, I do have to stay that this year has been pretty amazing. Both personal and business. Jelly Design Studio has been slowly growing and I honestly love my clients. I’ve gotten the chance to connect with so many creative ladies from around the world — all of them with a mission to do something good.
The year has also been filled with some fun work related trips (so many conventions!) and also a very special trip to Disneyland which left me in the happiest tears. :)
I know that I didn’t blog much but that’s fine. I feel that I shared some of the special memories that were made this year. And the ones that weren’t shared on here were probably just shared over on Instagram (just feels like a mini blog). :)
So here is a little recap of some of my favorite posts:
Started sharing a bit more of Disney fun here on the blog. My favorite post was a list of romantic spots at Walt Disney World. Had a lot of readers email me about how they didn’t know of some of these places.
Another new series on the blog was “Three Tips”. My favorite one was on how to stay inspired. Its been a good post to look back on when I feel a design/creative rut coming along. ;)
We got the chance to attend Awesome Con this year and managed to survive a 15 hour road trip. Which of course just consisted of lots of photos of me holding coffee, a partial break down when we arrived DC (that traffic and summer heat is serious), but a weekend filled with amazing memories and lots of fun.
We were on the road a lot this year and DragonCon was another convention to add to our list. Loved this experience and its definitely my favorite show ever. This show left us both extremely sleep-deprived but wouldn’t trade it for anything.
2015 has consisted of a long list of amazing clients. Got to be a part of many fun design projects but think Unwritten Photography is *one* of my favorites. Its a combination of glitter, girly fun, but still with a clean look. Feel that this site is one that has helped me really pinpoint my style.
One word — DISNEYLAND!!!. Besides lots of trips for A Design Geek work, we also got to squeeze in a vacation. This was a trip that I never in a million years really expected to happen cause of my fear of flying. But I did it. I still fear flying but it was so worth it. And I am willing to do it again.
Of course I wasn’t going to go to Disneyland and not take a billion photos and then want to share them on the blog. So my trip post was extended into a Part 2, which focused on DCA (the other park). Basically another recap of how much I cried every 2 minutes. :)
Relaunched the JDS Template Shop with some sophisticated and chic template designs. It was time for this update and love how it all came together. Of course the updates will continue with more templates. ;)

So now its time to start planning for 2016. Lots of big ideas in mind and hope to start working on a few early in the year and some are more long-term. As nervous as the new year tends to make me (thanks anxiety!) I do enjoy getting ready for it. Hope you all have a lovely new year!
