I wasn’t really planning on posting anything else this year but decide to do a little round up of a few of my favorite posts from this year. It’s sort of like strolling through 2014 to see some of the things I wrote about.
I had so much fun sharing my ideas and process when redecorating our living room with the help of IKEA. It was an exciting collaboration and loved the end result. I still can’t get over how polished this room looks. Plus, it’s functional for everyday use. :)
This year I finally got a sewing 101 lesson from my Mom. She would always make me the best Halloween costumes, and I hope to be just half as good one day. But for now I am sticking with the basics such as tote bags and skirts. I loved sharing a little tutorial on the blog on how to make your very own tote bag. It’s easy-peasy. Plus a good reference for me when I forget a step. ;)
This year I got out of my comfort zone an finally wore shorts without feeling self-conscious. It wasn’t an easy move for me (especially posting those photos on the blog) but I have finally realized that my issues with the way my legs looked were just silly. Also, it was crazy hot this summer!
Even though my office space moved to a different part of the house, I will always treasure these photos that Supal took of my first official office space. This little room will always be so special to me and I love going back to this post just to see the photos.
It felt like I lived in this shirt most of summer. I had lots of fun sharing a few extra outfit posts this year, but this might be my favorite one. Mainly because it gave me an excuse to talk about my weird fascination with mermaids.
I had lots of fun sharing recent design projects with you all this year — and of course the Blush & Jelly blog design was an exciting one! It took me forever to actually decide on the color scheme and layout, but when I finally did I was so excited with the outcome.
This ice cream was a hit during the summer! Light and refreshing! Plus less steps than traditional ice cream mixes. Can’t go wrong with that. ;)
Even though it was crazy cold, visiting NYC this past February was so much fun. It was a mini vacation with some good friends and lots of good food.
Starting a new year always makes me a little anxious and nervous, but I am excited to see what new things 2015 will bring our way. Hope you have a wonderful New Year! ;)
