Our new dining table is finally here!
Hi there! Today’s blog post comes a little later than usually but things like that happen. Anyways – this weekend was a blast! My Dad and Pup came to visit us for the weekend. I always love it when he comes for a visit and he helped us with some handy tasks around the house.
I also love watching the Hubs and my Dad working together. Even if it means that I am dragged to Home Depot way too early on a Saturday morning so we could look at wires for some project they were scheming. Totally worth it. ;)
He also taught me a bit about sanding, coffee table building, and priming. Now we got the materials we need to tackle building our very own coffee table. So excited!
Besides getting things done around the house, we also just got to spend some quality father-daughter time – we talked, laughed, ate way too much BBQ, explained what Instagram is, and more eating. Haha!
Also, this morning we finally got our fancy dining table from Restoation Hardware. It’s major! Can’t wait to share some dining room photos once we paint and finish decorating!
Overall – it was time well spent. :)
Now it’s time to catch up on emails, write blog posts, and probably some coffee.
