Happy Birthday

Today Blush + Jelly turns 2! I can’t believe that 2 years ago I got the random (and spontaneous) idea to start my own blog. I had no idea about SEO, social media, or even what exactly I wanted to blog about.

Sometimes impulse decisions are the best decisions that you can make because there is no time for insecurities and negative thoughts to take over. I just went for it – and now after 2 years I am still loving this little place where I can share my thoughts, ideas, and things I love with you all.

Blogging has been an amazing experience that has lead me to so many opportunities. When I started I had no idea where I was going with it or what it will bring. I have meet so many wonderful people that I would have never gotten the chance to connect with if it wasn’t for my blog. Blogging helped me realize the career path I wanted to take and has given me the opportunity to work with so many talented bloggers and small business owners. :)

This blog has challenged me to be real, try new things such as my cookie challenge, and open myself to meeting new people. So amazing!

My main support for all of this is my lovely Hubby. Whenever I have writer’s block or feel like there is nothing new to blog about – he is right there behind me giving me ideas and support. He is the photographer behind my style posts, food tester for all my baking, helps me with DIY projects and blog post ideas. He is my support.

And I would like to thank you! All of you! Knowing that my posts and rambles are being read always puts a smile on my face. I love when you leave comments or email me – it’s such a great feeling to connect with people all over the world.

I have plans and ideas for this blog but I know that these ideas will evolve throughout time and I am excited to see where they will take me.
