Goodbye 2012

Today we say goodbye to 2012. Even though I am not fully ready to let go of this amazing year I am curious about what 2013 will bring.

This year has taught me how to deal with change. On January I accepted a job offer that completely changed our lives. We moved from our hometown in Miami to Orlando. It was a pretty drastic change for us. The Hubby and I have always lived minutes away from our families so it was pretty major for us to be so far away.

We officially rented our first grown up apartment all by ourselves. Once we settled in we started new jobs and discovered a new city that has treated us so well.

Then came our businesses. Both the Hubby and I started our very own businesses and turned them into legit businesses. My business helped me connect with so many talent bloggers and business owners. I have discovered that I am always learning new things and feel that I have grown so much by owning my very own company. I no longer doubt myself. I feel knowledgeable in this field and when I don’t know something – I am no longer afraid to ask.

And then out of the blue we started getting serious about buying a home. I was terrified but the Hubby pushed me out of my comfort zone and we did it – we bought our very own home! A little place of our very own that feels just right.

So many great things came in 2012. I am a little curious about what 2013 holds for us. I have many plans and ideas, but if 2012 has taught me anything, expect the unexpected. ;)

I also want to take a moment and thank you all! This blog just started as a little journal to showcase the things I love and it has turned into so much more. I have committed to this blog and your comments, emails, and tweets always make me feel like someone is out there reading. Thank you all for your support in 2012. Whenever I was down, overwhelmed, excited, nervous, or scared – I was able to share it with you all and feel the support from this amazing community. Love you all!
