A Special Birthday Wish!

Today is my best friend’s birthday!!

And due to Christopher Columbus and his ridiculous holiday the post office was closed when I was going to send out her card. So it’s probably going to get there late. To make up for it I wanted to do a special post just for her birthday!

Cynthia and I meet in high school and quickly became friends. We were always a little odd which has just caused this friendship to be filled with tons of hilarious memories and so many random conversations that no one will understand.

She’s totally amazing and it’s weird living so far away from her. I really got used to living just 5 minutes away and with just a phone call we could be hanging out, drinking wine, or ordering Chinese take-out.

I actually feel that this has been one of the hardest parts for me when it comes to this whole moving away thing. I am just grateful for technology so we have endless ways to communicate. I just need technology to advance enough and create virtual hugs – cause sometimes a friend needs a hug and it just can’t happen when you live 4 hours away.

Anywho…it seems that I have gone off topic. The point is to wish my dear friend Cynthia an amazing birthday!! I am grateful to have such a kind and loving friend in my life that is cool with my social awkwardness and always knows the right thing to tell me when I am being a downer.
