The Next Level

Things are happening and I won’t lie – it kind of scares me. This weekend I am going to meet up with an accountant who contacted me (unlike the other 5 accountants I’ve called and never heard from) to discuss Jelly Design Studio.

It’s crazy. I just started offering web design services this March and I think it’s time to get some professional help for my company. I feel incredibly blessed to have gotten so many requests in so little time. I never expected this outcome. :)

With every kind email and client recommendation I feel a little more confident about my work and my skill. Yes, my inbox is usually a mess and I barely get any sleep, but I wouldn’t trade that for anything. I’ve finally discovered what I am good at and hope to one day call it my full time job. ;)

So setting up this meeting is a major step for me. I’ve tried starting other businesses in the past with no success. So to be taking it to this level feels unreal and amazing.

I don’t know exactly where Jelly Design Studio is headed. I have tons of ideas in my trusty notebook and brain but just need some time. I am excited to see how this will evolve with time and feel so lucky to have you all being so supportive.

Can’t wait for Saturday!

xo,

Meli

  1. Congratulations on starting your own biz!! As a small biz owner who just launched in 2011, I can tell you it is worth all the effort to do something you are passionate about! Congrats!

  2. Good luck Melissa! I am rooting for you :) I’d love to do web design full-time one day too. It’s a lot of hard work – but when you wake up in the morning so excited to get started, there’s nothing else like it.

  3. I completely understand this! I have a company that at 2 1/2 years old is moving forward in a great, yet frightening way. I am terrified and excited at the same time.
