Last week I tried something new – when I got home from work on Friday I just sat on the couch. As lame as this might make me sound – it was magical. I watched historical documentaries on Netflix, ate popcorn, and then took a nap. It was absolutely amazing – especially when my usual routine consists of getting home and getting to work on things for Jelly Design Studio.
I do this all week and most of the weekend (the working part, not the couch part) so decided to declare Friday afternoons as my new lazy day and I definitely think I could get used to this new routine rather quickly. I am already planning so many great activities that will keep me away from the computer, even if it’s just for a couple of hours.
So this Friday I have some amazing plans! I will be gathering my swimsuit, shades, and ridiculously large floppy hat and heading over to the community pool with a good book.
I am hoping that this Florida weather is on my side and these pesky clouds make some way for a little sunshine so that I could get my tan on (these legs are a little too pale for my liking).
I can’t even remember the last time I went to the pool so this is really exciting for me! Obviously I plan on taking a few necessities for my little afternoon trip to the pool to enjoy some good down time (I won’t be forgetting my SPF!)
What are some goodies that you can’t skip out of when heading to the pool? I always try to pack light when going to the pool but somehow my list of essentials gets a little out of hand. Good thing the pool is walking distance in case I forget anything!
