The Cookie Challenge // Week 17: Brown Sugar Cookies

Whoa, we are in 17 weeks and I am still going pretty strong. No major fails and best part is I am learning so many amazing recipes!

My first challenge this year was the traditional sugar cookie. Totally delish. Earlier this week I came across an alternative – brown sugar cookies! So I obviously had to give it a try.

The final results – an extra delicious cookie! The secret is simple, sprinkle a little sea salt once out of the oven. I only did it to half of the batch in case I didn’t like it. Turns out I did like it. The sea salt adds a nice flavor combination of sweet and salty.

I liked it enough that I ate most of the cookies myself (don’t judge). Good thing I only made a half batch!
