DIY: Capped Toe Shoes

As part of my 25 Before 26 list, I challenged myself to start doing my DIY projects. I have tons of things on my Pinterest board of things I want to make but just never find the time.

So I am making a change and making time for some crafty fun. I won’t consider my challenge complete until I do at least a few DIY projects that I plan on sharing with you. ;)

Today we start with a little shoe makeover. These black flats were a little dull already so I thought it was time to add a little flair. All I needed was some acrylic paint, paintbrush, and painter’s tape for keeping a straight line.

I gave the shoes 2 coats of paint to make sure it was even. I am so in love in with the results that I am planning on doing this to another pair of shoes! ;)

If any of you give this a try I would love to see a picture!

  1. So cute!! I’ve always wanted to try it, but worry I would mess up…They turned out great

  2. I think you should try it! It’s super easy to do and the best part – if you mess up the line just move the tape back a bit and try again. ;)

  3. I’ll definitely let you know when I do.. The problem is, which shoe to use for this task?!

  4. Love how these came out!

  5. These are so cute! I need to try this :)

  6. Love your pics of Capped Toe Shoes. I would LOVE to see it myself some day. :)
    Thanks,
