Goodbye 2012

Today we say goodbye to 2012. Even though I am not fully ready to let go of this amazing year I am curious about what 2013 will bring. This year has taught me how to deal with change. On January I accepted a job offer that completely changed our lives. We moved from our hometown in Miami to Orlando. It was a pretty drastic change for us. The Hubby and I have always lived minutes away from our families so it was pretty major for us to be so far away. We officially rented our first grown up ...

The Cookie Challenge // Week 52: Peppermint Crunch Cookies

I know it’s a little odd that I am writing this post on a Saturday night - but I needed to get my final cookie post up and with the lack of internet at home (and time) I decided to post it today. I will also ...

Antique and Thrift shopping in Lake Alfred. So into this sign. Wish I could take it home with me. Something about mirrors at an antique shop that calls my attention. Finally working on those Christmas cards! This weekend it was all about antique and thrift shops. We have been on the look out for 4 different dining chairs for our dinning room project. We ended up finding 2 great chairs with so much potential. We now have 3 chairs and just need a final one which we hope to find by next ...

Our Christmas Card // 2012

This year we (or more like I) got the idea of taking a pretty photo wrapped in Christmas lights to send to our friends and family for the Holidays. The only year we sent out Christmas cards was after our engagement party. It was a Thank You/Merry Christmas type of card. So I decided it was time to change all of that. So one Sunday afternoon I convinced my sweet and wonderful hubby to dress up and take some photos. As we had no remote for the camera we had to set it on timer, run to take ...
