About a week ago, while hanging out with my Dad, I found a huge stack of photos from his youth (circa 1940s). I’ve seen these photos before and always enjoy the stories and memories that each photo brings to my Dad’s mind. We then spent the next couple of hours looking at each photo while I listened to all his stories.
After looking over all these amazing pictures with well dressed people and glamorous hair-dos I decided to look up more old photos and I am now obsessed with vintage photographs.
Photos like these make me dream of how things were back in the day. I love creating a story for each picture I come across – think about what their names were, what jobs they worked and what they enjoyed doing on their free time. My favorites eras are between the 1920s – 1940s.

This is so very cool! When I was on vaca I found some vintage photos at an antique flea market and bought a few of them for my upcoming Twilight tablescape, so very excited.
