About 2 weekends ago we had our second food truck experience. That day B.C. Tacos was debuting their new food truck and I was psyched! All I can say about these tacos is that they are mind-blowing + mouthwatering all wrapped in a tortilla.
I ordered 2 tacos “The Hunter” (steak taco with lettuce and cheese) and “The Prehistoric Pork” (pulled pork with coleslaw and corn) and they also offered us a free taco. I never had a taco like this before – they call it “The Gatherer” which contains chunks of fried avocado (Y-U-M!) and a delicious chipotle mayo. It was insane!
I am still dreaming about these tacos and it has been almost two weeks! I am now officially stalking this food truck via twitter and I hope to make it out this weekend to have some more deliciousness.
We also passed by Cheese Me, which we ate at last time, we changed it up and ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with cheddar cheese and applewood smoked bacon. This sandwich is ridic! It is such a simple concept but somehow they manage to make it in a way that I would never be able to replicate. Are you hungry yet??
So if you are ever in Miami make sure to try at least one of these trucks. I think it should be the new rule for those traveling to Miami. Honestly, you can skip the beach – hit the food truck spot and you won’t regret it. Oh, and if you are in the area let me know – I would be more than happy to introduce you to the food truck scene! ;)
